When Life Expands

Expansion is the most delicious thing ever.  Well, cheesecake aside.

Seeing goals met, long or short term ones are a thrilling moment.  The funniest side effect I have noticed is that moments after your celebratory high fives for accomplishing this or manifesting that is, well, that deep satisfying breath and then… well, NOW WHAT?

Not a week after I had my motorcycle license and I was cruising down the road, I passed our local airport.  I saw a plane take off and I got goosebumps.  THAT !! I want THAT

I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes, and in my hair, because I need a better way to keep it in the helmet.  Its usually blowing all over.

I remember distinctly thinking WOW lady, you were satisfied with accomplishing this goal for like a week.

My smile got bigger as I imagined what being a Pilot might feel like.

Exhilarating!

That was a few years back and its still lurking around in my wish list of things to do while I am Earth-Side, and yet furthering my holistic education (and any education really) became more, uh, important.

I got one certification and I was hungry for the next.

Now I am wrapping up my entire program and I wonder what I want next.

I know there will be more.  OF COURSE there will be!  I think its why we are here!

Expansion is the name of the game and boy does it feel good.  So maybe feeling good is really the underlying goal we are after.

What could possibly feel good now that I felt great accomplishing this or that?

More!

More is my mantra.

What is yours?

We can look around and see things we feel are unsatisfactory and decide we want to make a change. So we do!  YAY US.  Well done!!

Then the process continues again and again.

Evolution at its best!

So the next time you see your life expanding, be sure to do the happy dance, and milk that feeling for all it’s worth, bask in it, and then go ahead…take  a deep breath and then say it!
